DESCRIPTION
Le Gaulois Restaurant Café has been a fixture on the Washington dining scene since Chef Bernard left the stellar Dominique's in the 1980's. Bernard moved the restaurant to its present location on Old Town Alexandria's fashionable King Street. Tom Meyer has been Executive Chef since 2006. Bar Baudelaire is the restaurants chic upstairs wine bar, named after french nineteen century poet and wine lover Charles Baudelaire. Bar Baudelaire features a late night petit plats menu and as many as 32 wines by the glass. Private dining rooms are available for as many as 50 persons.
